Will you pray for us?

Psalm 10:14
But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.

It started out with a heart for orphans in my teens. It started out with a call to minister to traumatized kids and then watching a documentary about street children- praying to the Lord Jesus for His call over my life. Little did I know, my husband and I would take in our first modern-day orphans (or children in crisis) through the US foster care system. After we had been through the trenches in that field; we could get through anything, only with Jesus by our side.... -Bri

We have been praying for God's will for our future. He has been doing some amazing things. However, its not always about the amazing things, its living for Christ each day in the midst of suffering, sickness, pain, and questions. We all suffer with these things, but are asked to trust God and hold His hand as we walk by faith, unable to see the road ahead most times. 

For our marriage and family, this is one of those times. Will you pray with us and for us as we are beginning paperwork and our journey for eligibility to adopt 1-2 children from India, adding to the family God has blessed us with? Please pray for our journey with the wonderful agency God has laid before us, for the road ahead, and for every item to become complete in His timing. 

We will not be taking a healthy child or children. India is only allowing disabled children to be adopted at this time through our agency. We are trusting God and have laid out what we could hopefully tackle medically through the help of surgeons and hospitals if need be.
