Beginning the Paperwork...
We prayed and asked God to close the door if this was just something we should not pursue.
Well, He opened the doors, wide open, a bit to our surprise. A little quicker of a tug than we thought.
Our goal is to have all of our paperwork finished and home study completed by this summer.
Then- our dossier is off to India. Current wait time for a match for 1 or 2 children---- Two 1/2 years!!!
We have not specified a gender and by India law, are eligible for a child 0-4.
We are not taking a healthy child, as India isn't accepting this type of adoption. We are planning on working with Colorado Children's Hospital and their International Adoption Program. Jer has great insurance so surgery or surgeries will be free. Total blessing.
