Adoption and the Gospel
Our journey---I define myself by following the Almighty Lord and soaking in His scriptures daily. And in the present, as Jonah was in the whale, our family waits trusting in the only true Light of the world, walking through a process already weak from lovingly giving up our foster children back to their home in healing. Yet, then again, there is a strength, in handing Jesus our hearts and saying, "I have no real strength, but you do. Carry us. Carry us to this child or children if it is Your will. Carry us- if it is Your will. Let us pass all these exams, if it is Your will." And then, a joy births and it is followed by peace.... Those of us who have come to Christ, who have given Him ourselves (no matter our fears or struggles) have had His promise of becoming His child.
